Since 1969 the Queensland Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists Group has existed to share, create, educate, promote and support fibre and textile arts in the community.
We encourage members to get involved in all aspects of the group. We have two general meetings a month, these are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. This meeting is a good forum to see what is happening in the group. Each interest group also has meetings each month. We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the first Saturday in September for all members. We vote on a range of issues and make decisions for the group for the coming years, including the election of board members. Look out for announcements here on our webpage or QSWFA Facebook page.
